‘I was already aware of the quality of training that Pure Development and Training offered so when I found out about the PTD Hub I couldn’t wait to get on board. The subject matter is just what I need for my specialist populations and I particularly like the CPD aspect. We’re often covering old ground and it makes me realise how quickly the knowledge and skills wane if I don’t keep on top of it.
The PTD Hub helps me plan many aspects of my business as well which is often lacking in PT training. It’s a one stop shop of content that I find lacking in many other training companies who only focus on the big qualifications.’
‘I qualified as a GP Exercise Referral Specialist in 2018. The course was full of information and I realised that my knowledge of working with the populations included was limited and that the basic Personal Training qualification doesn’t really prepare us to work with those who have health conditions and need our help to improve their lifestyle. After qualifying and then applying to work on a local scheme that solely works with special populations I knew that I needed ongoing help and support but struggled to find anything that met my need to learn more in order to benefit my clients.
Thats where PTD Hub comes in! I came across the group on facebook then looked at the website. I knew then I had found the resources, tools and support I needed in one place. Nothing is to much trouble for Emma and her team. I requested a home workout template so I could support my clients outside of work and a brilliant one was put up into the members area. There are PDF’s to download regarding lifestyle advice for your clients and also workout ideas. Adding these little things to your service make it much more personal and also less daunting for your clients.
There are also knowledge bundles delivered each month so you are constantly enhancing your knowledge and are able to pass this onto clients plus you have access to specific short courses (at a great price) in order to focus on more specific topics or health conditions. Plus business advice too.
I recently took part in the ZOOM networking event due to the current COVID crisis and it was brilliant to meet fellow instructors from around the current whilst learning at the same time. On top of this I know I can go to Emma or the group and ask if I am unsure of anything.
All in all if you are working with Special Population Groups i definitely feel that PTD Hub is a place you need to be!
I joined the Hub when Emma first set it up. It was a brilliant idea. The monthly educational bundles are easy to access, informative, use a variety of health professionals and provide an excellent aid to CPD.
The Hub has plenty of useful downloads, and has created a network of fellow instructors, invaluable for idea swapping.
Above all it is Emma’s continuing enthusiasm, and knowing that she is always there for support, which, for me, makes it a necessity to belong.

PTD Hub is an amazing go-to resource for all kinds of situations. Whether it’s the monthly themes and bundles, which are updated often and recognised by professional bodies, the blogs or the Facebook page with relevant news, they all enable fitness providers with the ability to train new target clients safely and confidently. PTD Hub is specifically designed for training special populations, but everything is so informative it can be adapted for using with almost all clients.
Emma is a great inspiration and fantastic educator. I constantly revisit the bundles and it amazes me how she keeps adding new and innovative ideas and themes to them.
Being a member of PTD Hub has even more benefits, with the discounts applied to courses enrolled upon through Pure Training and Development, which are of an equally high standard and my favourite way to learn.
